Pea soup February 2024

At the weekend, my dad and I went shopping; Kohl's had a total of discounts, up to 75%.  But we quickly figured out why.  Almost all the clothes we liked were only in size 3XL.  So we walked around and returned home empty-handed.   On Sunday, Dad started working his magic again in the kitchen.  This time, the victim was pea soup.  Dad found a simple recipe on YouTube and started with the words: "The soup is straightforward to cook; there is nothing to spoil."  After two hours of hard work, it was done.  "The soup looks great; I’m good.”  I said nothing because Dad’s motto is: “If you don’t brag about yourself, no one else will do it for you."  Interestingly, he said nothing after eating but nothing at all.  And when he lay down next to me in front of the TV, he started writing something on his laptop.  When he left for tea, I looked.  He posted an ad on Craigslist: "I'm selling cheap premium grade industrial glue with a pea scent. Organic and in a hurry".  Sometimes I don't understand him.  lol
